First breeders of Sheepadoodles in Texas, family owned and home raised, still doing it the same careful way two decades later.

Where It Began
Twenty years of one extraordinary breed
We started breeding the Sheepadoodle in 2004, before most people in Texas had heard the name. We were the first here, and we have never moved on to another breed since.
Because we only have two litters per year, the breed was initially slow to gain recognition. There are many more breeders in the US following our footsteps now, so Sheepadoodles are becoming slightly more prominent. They are still hard to find.
That has never bothered us. A small program was the point, not a limitation we are working around.
A Note on Coats
No guessing game
Both parent breeds, the Old English Sheepdog and the Standard Poodle, are hypoallergenic and non-shedding, so your puppy will be too. That is not always true of a Labradoodle or a Goldendoodle, where one parent breed does shed and coat outcomes vary more from puppy to puppy.
If you have allergies or asthma in the family, this may be the reason a Sheepadoodle works for you when other dogs have not.
Who Raises Them
Everyone in this house has a job
This is a family owned and operated program in the most literal sense. Our children assist in the daily operations of raising a litter and all the chores that come with it. Puppies grow up underfoot, in the middle of a normal household, rather than in a kennel run.
That is the whole explanation for the temperament people notice when they meet one of our dogs. Nothing about a puppy’s start here gets rushed or skimped on, because there are only ever two litters a year to get right.
You will see it first in coat quality and general health. You will notice it most in how calm they are.
