We were the first breeders of Sheepadoodles in Texas, and we have raised them the same careful way since 2004. Two litters a year, raised inside our home by our whole family. This page explains exactly what that means for the puppy who comes home to you.
Our Standards
Six things we will not compromise on
None of these are add-ons or upgrades. They are simply how we raise a litter, and they are the reason our puppies arrive calm rather than overwhelmed.
Only two litters a year
A deliberately small program means every puppy gets individual attention from the day they are born. It also means we rarely have many puppies at once, so if you are hoping for a particular color or size, it is worth talking to us early.
Socialized from the very beginning
We handle and socialize our puppies from their earliest days, inside a busy family home rather than a kennel. That early handling is what produces the calm, easy going demeanor Sheepadoodles are known for.
100% organic, super premium food
Our dogs and our puppies eat 100% organic, super premium food. We never skimp on quality here, and you can see it in coat condition and general health long before a puppy is ready to leave.
Dr. Jean Dodds’ vaccine protocol
We follow this protocol because it is gentler on a young puppy’s immune system. Your puppy leaves us with current vaccines, and your own veterinarian can pick up the schedule from there.
Raised by our whole family
Our children assist in the daily operations of puppy raising and all the chores that go with it. Puppies grow up around children, footsteps, doorbells and normal household noise, which is exactly what makes them settle so easily in a new home.
15% of our sales given back
We believe in giving back. We donate 15% of our sales to charity, and our children do the same with the income from their chores. It has been part of how we run this program from the start.
Before Your Puppy Comes Home
The head start we send with every puppy
Most of the hardest early weeks are already behind you by the time your puppy arrives. Here is what is done before pick-up day:
- Crate trained
- Potty trained
- Litter box trained to pine pellets
- Current on vaccines
- Microchipped
- Socialized with children and other dogs
Litter box training is unusual for a breeder to do, and it is one of the things new owners thank us for most. It gives you a clean indoor option while your puppy is still too young to hold it through the night.
Know What You Are Asking
Questions worth asking any breeder
Use this whether or not you come to us. A breeder who cannot answer these plainly is telling you something.

The Breed Itself
Why we have only ever bred one breed
We started with the Sheepadoodle in 2004 and never moved on to anything else. They are by far the greatest dog we have ever known: calm, smart, gentle, and deeply loyal to their family.
There is also a practical reason families with allergies find their way to us. Both parent breeds, the Old English Sheepdog and the Standard Poodle, are hypoallergenic and non-shedding, so your puppy will be too. There is no guessing game the way there can be with a Labradoodle or a Goldendoodle.
Because we have kept the program small for two decades, Sheepadoodles from us are still hard to find. That is a trade-off we made on purpose.

Common Questions
Before you reach out
Why do you only have two litters a year?
Because it is the only way we know to give every puppy individual attention from birth. A larger program would mean more puppies available, but less of the early handling that produces the temperament we are known for. It does mean waiting lists, and we would rather be honest about that than expand.
Are your Sheepadoodles really hypoallergenic?
Both parent breeds, the Old English Sheepdog and the Standard Poodle, are hypoallergenic and non-shedding, so a Sheepadoodle puppy will be too. That is different from a Labradoodle or Goldendoodle, where one parent breed does shed and coat outcomes vary more. If you have allergies or asthma, this may be the right dog for you.
What training is done before my puppy comes home?
Your puppy is crate trained, potty trained and litter box trained to pine pellets before pick-up day. They are also current on vaccines and microchipped. The litter box training in particular gives you a clean indoor option during the first weeks, when a young puppy cannot yet hold it overnight.
What vaccine protocol do you follow?
We follow Dr. Jean Dodds’ vaccine protocol, because it is gentler on a young puppy’s immune system than a more aggressive schedule. Your puppy leaves us with current vaccines and your own veterinarian continues from there.
Who actually raises the puppies?
Our family does, inside our home. Our children assist with the daily work of raising each litter and all the chores that come with it. Puppies grow up surrounded by normal household life, which is why they settle so quickly once they reach you.
